My name is Rachel and I am "Iced"! My journey in the baking world started from when I was a little girl. When my mother was baking or cooking, I always wanted to help out. As soon as I was able to read recipes and operate the oven on my own, I began baking! From cookies and squares, to pies and cakes, baking was a hobby I quickly fell in love with.
Since then, I have expanded my hobby into something more. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, and since then we have been participating in breast cancer fundraisers. In 2011, we decided to do the Weekend to End Women's Cancers in Toronto, and thought that a neat way to fundraise would be to sell cupcakes. We made cupcakes for birthdays, social gatherings, dedications, and more!! We raised over $2,000 in cupcake sales alone and the idea to start up a little business on the side even after the walk was frequently on my mind. With the support of friends and family to take this idea and make it a reality, here I am today!!
