This weekend, 'Iced' had the opportunity to do the cakes/cupcakes for 2 separate little boys' birthdays. The first was for Braxon, the son of my husband's co-worker. This was a fun cake to make, as it was a cupcake pull-apart cake. It consisted of 36 cupcakes, chocolate and red velvet flavoured, with buttercream icing topping it all off. As for the theme of the cake, Braxon is in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, (who doesn't LOVE Mickey!), so that theme seemed perfect! Hope you had a 'sweet' and wonderful 1st birthday, Braxon!!
Next was a friend of mine's son's Dale Earnhardt Jr. themed birthday. Vincent requested his cupcakes to be Dale Jr. #88 themed, so that's what 'Iced' did! There was a variety of mini cupcakes in Chocolate in Vanilla flavours with buttercream to top it off, as well as some standard sized cupcakes with fondant decorations fitting in the Dale Jr. theme. Happy Birthday Vincent! "Drivers, start your engines!"
